I'm not so interested in the price difference as I am in that sales pitch: Just how widespread was stop-motion animation with action figures at that point? I remember doing a Super 8 using G.I. Joe; I think were were inspired by shorts shown on ABC TV's 'Curiosity Shop' ... but I don't remember any other examples.

I think I once tried to use Mego Treks for animation, but for fluid movements, they actually had a bit to be desired. Or at least for a 10 year old kid in the late 70's with his parent's movie camera from the 50's.

Never knew for sure, but I've always felt like it did because you tend to see more of the RC Batman.

Anyone notice that Jokers Jacket is the same material that the Penguin's jacket is made of? Might be another variation out there. It looks like it is different in the color of the cuffs too...so it's not just a Penguin Jacket thrown onto a Joker figure. Interesting....and has that Spidey ever shown up?

According to Ben,it's a prototype. But after seeing this ad and seeing stuff like the elastic belt Riddler,I'm thinking a handful may have gotten out to the public. I could be wrong.
