That came from a Famous Monsters magazine. They use to sell Mego's all the time. The price difference was probably due to villains being the newer batch in that lot. See? Crime DOES pay!

Neato. So Warren was aiming for a more mature audience that might be into drawing and filmmaking to buy these. Interesting niche marketing twist.

I wonder how many did actually use them as artist models or make their own animated films on 8 or Super 8. It would be awesome to see a stop motion amateur film from back in the day.

Anyone notice that Jokers Jacket is the same material that the Penguin's jacket is made of? Might be another variation out there. It looks like it is different in the color of the cuffs too...so it's not just a Penguin Jacket thrown onto a Joker figure. Interesting....and has that Spidey ever shown up?
