Good Horse for Apes?

Yeah, I got the horse at your suggestion and went "well...this is ok, I guess". Then I found a proper saddle/bridle and now General Urko looks terriffic.

They now sell Breyer horses in a $50 set that includes the horse, bridle/saddle, and some other stuff (rider, carrot, etc). The big downside with these is that I have yet to find a set like this that's colored appropriately. White horse with red bridle, chestnut horse with blue bridle, etc. But by grabbing the horse and bridle/saddle individually, I was able to find a great combination of dark brown horse with dark leather bridle/saddle.

Man, this has to be a low point in my toy collecting career, obsessing on horses.

Real leather made horsey stuff are pricey for the Breyers, but they look spectacular. Although not difficult to recreate, they can be fussy if you want screen accuracy. Someday I will repaint the horsey...he'll do for now.

Marx horses are great for Sideshow apes, although they are a little bit runty for the apes. Just a tad.

^Make sure you use the ones with wings. That way they can attack from above.

Soldier Apes are twenty percent cooler on Ponies.
