Which WGSH did you not see as a kid?

Sorry to be on such a WGSH tear, blame Benjamin. I was just wondering which characters did you not see as a kid? For me, these are the ones I only saw in comic ads:

Tarzan (My sister had seen him, rushed me to the toy department and he was gone. She said "he looked weird, he had a skin suit on")
    Batgirl
    Wonder Woman
    Thor
    Conan
    Mr Fantastic
Invisible Girl (I honestly think that this wave of WGSH had limited distribution in Canada)
All but Wondergirl of the Titans (My neighbour's sister got her in Florida)

When I started collecting again as a teenager, my first priority were the figures I had never seen.

I didn't think about the alter egos. I never even knew about them until I was an adult.

              up to '75.

My Mego WGSH memories seem to end at 1975. I never saw any of the heroes that came out in '76 or '77, until I started collecting them in the 90s. I think my interest shifted to other things. Most notably, Mego's POTA figures, since I remember having every one of them.

I never saw Green Arrow, Green Goblin, Wonder Woman, Isis or the Teen Titans (if you count them. I only saw a whole bunch of the other figures once. By the time I was getting them, we only saw Batman, Supes, Robin, Spidey, and the Hulk regularly.

I never saw the Titans in stores, but I ordered them from an ad in a comic book. I can still remember waiting the 6-8 weeks and getting a slip in the mail from the postman and getting my father to drive me to the post office to pick them up!

Because my Mego memories mainly start around 1976 or so, you can imagine I missed quite a few! I never saw Wonder Woman or Tarzan on shelves, though I knew a kid who owned both. He also had The Thing and Human Torch, who I also never saw in a store. Ones that I didn't see in any kind of way were Thor, Conan, The Lizard, RC Batman, RM Robin, the Alter Egos, Batgirl, Supergirl, and Catwoman. And funnily enough, one of the last ones for me to buy as a kid was The Hulk. I didn't finally get an 8" Hulk for myself until circa '80/'81. He was really hard to find around here for years!

I honestly don't think I ever saw any of them over here. I do recall seeing a display of 12" Hulks in a store and really wanting one. I just don't think that Mego were as popular over here or the availability was less. Toy stores were filled with Action Man, Star Wars and Six Million Dollar Man.

During the 70s and early 80s in the UK the big toy stores didn't exist like Toy R Us do now. All toy stores were usually just small familly run affairs who maybe were reluctant to buy stock like Mego for fear of it not selling. Either that or I just was more interested in other things and didn't notice them.

I had a Zaius and CAH exploding bridge playset and my brother had Cornelius but they are the only other Megos I recall as a child. I also remember a friend who had a Paul Morrow.
"I should say I`m very much cleverer than any of the people who put me here. As a matter of fact, I could leave any time I wanted. It`s only a doll`s house after all. Anyway, I don`t mind. I like dolls" - The Mad Hatter, Arkham Asylum.
