I think the only ones I never saw were the Teen Titans and the Alter Egos (I don't believe any of these made it to Canada)

It's easier to list the ones I DID see. Of course I saw the card backs listing other figures, but I only saw and owned: Superman, Batman, Robin, Spider-Man, Captain America and Hulk.
I remember a commercial that had Shazam! and the Falcon (maybe it was a toy chain commerical?) but I never saw any other figures in stores or catalogs.

The only ones I can remember seeing in stores (Woolworth and Woolco AND K-Mart) were:
Spidey
Batman
Robin
Superman
Hulk
Captain America
Falcon
FF
Shazam
Don't remember seeing any of the rest until I was an adult and surfing the web.Comment

I don't remember seeing any of them! We first came to the US in 1974, so as new immigrants, toys like that were not on my mom and dad's priority. We didn't really socialize with other kids (could barely speak English) so didn't even know Mego existed! It was not part of my childhood. Those who look outside dream. Those who look within awake.
Samples of my work are found here: Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness
To do list:
1:6 boots for Mathilda, 1:1 Romulan Commander outfit, Ursus helmet; Cornelius appliance
1:9 scale ape's new suit for Cornelius;Comment

The only Mego 8 inch hero I NEVER saw in a store was Wonder Woman. In fact the only glimpse of her I ever got was in the mini catalog that came with my HOJ. I saw Invisible Girl MOC once and passed on her that day and then could NEVER find her! I wanted Wonder Woman badly but it seemed like I was desperate for IG just because I had actually seen one in a store. I finally actually saw and held my first 8 inch Wonder Woman in my early 20's. The rest I saw and owned at one time or another as a kid. Great memories to conjure up right before the Holidays!Comment

I only saw the majority of them in comic ads and was absolutely fascinated by them. I thought about trying to get them ordered but got confused by States and Zip codes.
I managed to make do with the common figures that were released here though.Comment

I don't remember seeing any of the later issued characters (GA, Iron Man, FF, Conan, Thor, Isis, Titans, etc.) The last ones I remember buying in a store as a kid was Falcon and Hulk.sigpic WANTED: Boxed, Carded and Kresge Carded WGSHComment

Well, even at an early age I considered myself a Mego afficianado. That is of course until I went with my father one day to a tax client of his only to have my mind literally blown when I was made to play with his client's son. I wandered into this kids bedroom and my eyes nearly popped out when he opened a drawer under his Captain's bed and it was full to the brim with Megos. Many of which I had never seen or known to have existed. The ones that stick out most in my mind were Conan, Thor, the RM's Cowls and the AE's. Technically speaking, I did see them but very late in the game and never again until I started hitting up vintage toy shops in the late '80s (where I got my first ever Kid-Flash for 3 bucks, circa '87!). I had seen the comic art for some of them on the packaging of course but never saw them in stores.Lest ye be as little children ye shall in no wise enter the kingdom of heavenComment

For the most part, since they were the ones I owned, I remember which figures I did see: Spider-Man, Batman, Robin, Superman, Aquaman, then Catwoman & Batgirl, then Falcon, Hulk, then Kid Flash, Aqualad and Wonder Girl, and last Human Torch.
No AEs, RCs or RMs. I never saw Cap or Tarzan, Wonder Woman or Supergirl, nor any of the other villains as a child. Can't remember seeing any of the other Marvels, Conan or Isis. But I knew they existed from ads and Xmas catalogs. My parents liked to comparison shop, so generally, if we found a character I didn't have, I usually got it. Always seemed like the assortments had been picked over, if you ask meComment

Wonder Woman: No shock there as the majority of WGSH I saw as a kid were on cards.
Thor
Conan
Catwoman
Super Gals
Green Goblin: I say that because being so into Spider-Man, if I had seen one I would have somehow, someway gotten my parents to get it for me.
