Maybe it has something to do with all of the recent REMEGO 8" stuff. For those that have been buying the new stuff off of the store shelves and on line stores are finally realizing what Mego is.

As we all know Mego can be addicting. The more people that collect Mego the higher the prices will go as a lot of people are trying to get it for their collections.

Just think of it as a bunch of more new people discovering Mego for the very first time. Now that they are hooked they are becoming addicted to the other Megoish lines and will soon be joining the Mego Museum if they have not already.

I do not know about some of you guys and gals, but I have seen a big change in new names here at The Mego Museum just in the last couple of months.
Enjoy what you like, and let others enjoy what they like. (C) Azrak 2009

Yes, vinyl caped Batman is quite rare. So the auction price was actually quite good.

I gotta think it's playing a factor, new people strolling in here everyday. Walking into toys R Us and seeing 8 inch superheroes and stuff has to be causing some flashbacks for people.

True, but I was just thinking to myself the other day, "Man! Remember when this stuff was hard to find?"

There are two kinds of purchases going on - one to collect and one for turnaround. Most lot purchases are for dismantling and resale.

Certain figures are selling well because they can't be repo'd to death.
