I heard Danzig is a vintage toy collector. I know he's a comic and Japanese toy collector and I've bought Verotik tiles here and there over the years. But I heard not long ago he's into Mego.

Yeah, I met a pal of his at one time, told me Danzig had some really epic and rare Japanese toys . Ben had a fist fighting Riddler from his collection as well.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

I now he has been collection for as long as, and pretty sure, longer than I have, which is since 1986. Like Brian said, he has an amazing Japanese toy collection. I have seen pictures of him with Shogun Warriors and Anime toys in the background. Though I had never heard anything about Mego specifically, it doesn't surprise me in the least.
I was a major fan of the Misfits as a teen (still love them) and back then I thought it was so cool he collected toys. lolComment

I met Glenn several times and asked him about Megos once, he said "just the Apes""Live a poem or die a fool"Comment

This makes sense too, because I have heard him on more than one occasion (in his later DANZIG years) saying he never liked American mainstream comics and super-heroes. Of course, he may have been exaggerating, and his opinion may have changed over the years.Comment

That wouldn't surprise me. He has an obvious love for horror and SF films, anime and other Japanese stuff, but he never struck me as much of a fan of superheroes. Actually, the only superhero reference I can think of in any of his songs is from the Misfits song "TV Casualty" ("I wish they'd put Prince Namor on the tube..") I'd love to see pics of his collection, especially the Japanese stuff. Considering all the times he's been to Japan, and the money and contacts he must have, it must be a hell of a collection.Comment
