Greedy, Give Someone Else A Chance Or No One's Business?

Ok now I'm not talking about someone buying a ton of Hulks, Spideys or anything else that is fairly common or even a bit rare but how do you feel when a collector buys (or wins) a very rare Mego item and already has one, complete and in the same condition(and not looking to flip but keep in their collection). Are they being greedy, should they give someone else a chance since they have one already or is it no one's business since it's their money anyway? For example let say a complete AE figure or a boxed Mangler.

If they keep it then I don't mind but when they buy to sale then I think they could let a collector get something at a good price.

I don't keep track of such things.

If someone has the funds to buy multi of the same figure then more power to him it's there money
Unless the figure is a one of the super rare items like an 8 inch MOC MEGO IRONMAN then why worry about it? another one will show up
Part of the fun of collecting is the hunt, you may lose out on a figure so the hunt begins agian

I've been trying to spread the Mego rareness around.

Regardless of the item, dirt common or extremely scarce,
you really can't, nor should you, try to control what other's buy in this hobby.

Listen, I already asked and was told I wasn't allowed to buy every Brick Mantooth that came off the boat...

Funny thing is the stuff I bring to shows to sell, or have on here to sell, is from my having upgraded my figures over the years. Some rare pieces and some not so rare pieces. So I wouldn't begrudge anyone if they bought a figure they already have. The only ones that I begrudge are the people that make offers to ebay sellers as the auctions are going on. That ticks me off BIG TIME. I've never done it and never will do it.

Their eyes can't hope to see
                  The beauty that surrounds them
                  Isn't it a pity".

Is it a variation? Like the different colored outfits for Green Arrow?

yeah, that kind of sucks,i just keep lookin and lookin, someone will always have more money then me to get that rare figure,ya gotta hope who ever that is ,isnt watchin that auction and is visting his mother-in law or something.i managed to score a very nice removable mask robin ( with repro mask of course ) for $200,i always see these go for a lot more,so i got lucky-that time.

The reasoning behind this question is that I've never be jealous or resentful of anyone having great or rare items and have always been very supportive about such things but recently I found a collector that had 2 boxed Manglers and that they had won the second one kind of "just because they could". For the first time I felt a bit bitter about it and it bothered me a bit. I know I shouldn't and it's really none of my business but kind of felt like why not give someone else a chance. I've been after one of these for a long, long time and I do know that another one will be coming down the road eventually but like I said feeling that way bothered me and I really have no right to feel like that and was wondering if anyone else had found their self feeling like that before.

I have a large box full of carded Mego Iron Man figures.
I can't get enough of them. I used one to prop up a table leg that was a bit short...

Some have, some have not. In a perfect world we'd all get what we want.
And when you look at it, it's all just pieces of plastic.

I'm so Zen right now, you just wouldn't believe it...

                              Hmmmm....

I dunno.... I try not to think about it. Otherwise you end up like them Star Wars collectors we were discussing a while back.
