    Classic tv toys re-release!

I just contacted classic tv toys about there first issue monsters, and they said they were going to re-release them later in the year! Exciting news for someone like me who had put off getting them. Just thought I let everyone know who might have put off getting them as well!

Maybe I'm wrong about this - Could anybody confirm - Isn't the market still somewhat flooded with blown-out CTVTs, or has the market absorbed them?

The first series Monsters do seem to be getting harder to find. Even CTVT only has loose Mummys and the red and blue Drac and Frank in stock. I'd certainly be on board for reissues of the series one Monsters if they are improved and have better fitting suits. Hopefully they will also put the correct boots on the Wolfman this time.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Nothing like a re issue of a re issue.

Would be cooler if they did different versions. Repro's can be great for those that need replacement clothes for originals and for those that want to have them but don't need them to be original Mego's, or for your kids to play with "your" toys. Make something different IMO. I thought their Munster line was great except for the bodies. Brady Bunch while not for me at least was different and I liked the Married with Children stuff too.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

I like the mad clowns myself and I contacted CTVT myself and ask if I could use them in a comic book I wanted to do. they said no.

I'd be up for a series 3 mad monsters if they come up with 4 more cool characters to add to the line. I love the series 2. They fit in perfectly with my original Megos series 1. I wish they could do the glowing eyeballs though, like the original Megos.

i would love to see more cttv figures, although i have been very spoiled by emce and their high quality, cttv should just get emce to do the bodies, just as bif bang pow did.those figures are fantastic,i bought them all to date,go with it cttv.

but then they wouldn't make any money.
realistically, to use EMCE bodies they would then have to rasie their prices....which might then affect overall sales

^ Good point. I think its basically "you get what you pay for"....thats HOW they are able to sell boxed/carded dolls for $5 each; the quality STINKS! No, that was harsh of me.... I think that a nice suit and a compliment of repro accessories is surely worth $5, even if their bodies are pretty much rubbish. Hold/manipulate a CTVT body with one hand, and a screw-back Doc body in the other......A blind man with one hand could easily differentiate as far as build quality. Even without expenses like character rights and whatnot, if CTVT used Doc's/ZICA's bodies, the dolls would need to be at least $15....
