When the news broke that this was coming I'd immediately put together a 4th Doctor Auton from my parts bin.
Baker, Eccleston and Smith are my three favorite... I'd love to see Leela, Romana II, Amy Pond... etc. Captain Jack would be cool too.

    Musts are:
    Dalek
    Tardis
    K-9

It would be kind of cool to see more outlandish Who villians - from eps like Pyramids of Mars, City of Death (noodle headed Scaroth, of course), but please... no Pirate Planet. I'd take most rubber headed villians and not even care if they didn't match up with incarnation (thinking Ice Warriors, Silurians, Zygon, Sea Devil). Heck I'd really like a Martha, but I'm pulling for an Eccleston eventually so I'm wishing Tennant back in the que.

I want Pat Troughton and an Ice-Warrior!
And I'll keep repeating this post every day until I get them!!!

But for now, these first four look great to me. 2011 was supposed to be "the year I cut down on collecting".....

I never heard of Beastly, don't watch Dr Who, Venture Brothers or Dexter. Twilight Zone seems to be the only BBP line I'll buy consistently, though I'm sure Dr Who will be a big seller with the freaks and geeks.
I just hope that poor licensing selection doesn't kill the revived 8" line like it did with Mego (Dukes, Chips, Waltons)

^Dukes was actually a big seller for Mego. It sold well beyond their projections. The line just came far too late to save the company.

I'm all about the Venture figures. Is Brock as the Sphinx from season 4? I haven't caught any of those episodes yet...

Um....Just because you don't relate to their choices doesn't mean the are poor choices. It's a big diverse world.

Maybe K-9 and a Dalek could be a Build a Figure? Or the Tardis!

^ That's an interesting concept for an 8" line.

I hope the production head sculpt for Tom is better (the vintage Denys fisher looks better to me) so that my keep from from buying it

of all these lines the who one is probably the most sence for a retro since Denys/hebert used the 9" mego body for the vintage line. Love the cyberman (expecailly since I never got a vintage denys)

Dukes and CHiPs were tremendous sellers for Mego, if anything, those choices kept the lights on.

A little constructive criticism on the Beastly figures. Beastly is being hyped as sort of the next Twilight. The primary audience and market for it are tween girls and young women. The BBP Beastly sculpts are not going to appeal to women. I'm not insulting the sculpts and they would be fine if the market for Beastly was male action figure collectors, but it isn't.

Look at the head sculpts on the Twilight Barbies.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse Victoria | Barbie Collector

Now look at the sculpts on the Beastly dolls.

                        Beastly - ToyFair 2011

These are not going to appeal to girls and women who are not already Mego collectors. Beastly is not a male collector brand and if you want to sell to women you have to appeal to their tastes. The clothes are fine and the bodies are fine. But the head sculpts, in my opinion, need work to appeal to the target audience.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Here's the Beastly trailer, by the way, had to look it up to see what this thing actually is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Neo6W1f7hyY

You've got a point on those dolls, I don't even think the clothes on the girls are very good either--the clothes on the brunette anyway...The blonde is not bad. Mattell has a bit of a head start. Breaking into that market will be a tall order.

The Beastly himself is awesome, the Neil Patrick Harris doesn't look like him at all.

I agree with Tothiro and Gorn Captain- from Pyramids of Mars, I hope they make the robot Mummy, and Marcus Scarman in the black costume & helmet. And an Ice Warrior would be AMAZING!!! Thanks to all the guys who made this line possible!
