Bif Bang Pow Gives us a taste of what's in store

Bif Bang Pow give us a sneak peak of Toy Fair 2011, is that Brock in Sphinx gear? Jonas and Rusty?

The Doctor is surrounded by some familiar enemies for wave one, this is a great start.

The Venture Bros. additions are full of win, as the kids say. Looking good! I'll wait to hear what the Dr. Who fans say, they look good to me.

The Beastly figures at the bottom...it'll be interesting to see how that movie turns out. I'm interested to see rooted hair on the females, a departure from what BBP has done in the past.

Umm, aside from the Doctor Who and Venture Bros, I have no idea what a lot of that stuff even is. That's been the big drawback for me personally about the retro style revival. I have absolutely zero interest in the vast majority of licenses chosen. I'm still happy for those that like them though.

The Doctor's head looks a little large but I'm sure that's only because it's a prototype. Other than that it looks nice.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I hope Beastly is a big hit because they seem to have invested a lot of figures in it. More civilians and head sculpts is great for customizing.

The Doctor Who figures are awesome, but I think the Doctor's scarf is way too wide.

I'm loving the Dr Who figures, they look bang on, although they could do with making the Doctor's head a touch smaller. It's great to see the Deadly Assassin Master in there. The additional Venture Bros figures look really cool too. I'm saving my pennies to buy the lot!

Popping in to say this: Bif Bang Pow is very aware that the Doctor's noggin is a bit large, it will not reflect final product.

PS that scarf is from Jason's Denys Fisher doll, the one they got in he felt was too short.

I was intending to post that "the first person to say the prototype heads are too large gets a punch in the throat", but I was too late.

I kind of like Styre. I think I'll wait for later revisions of the 4th Doctor. Can't see much of the Cyberman, and I think the dessicated Master is a really, very poor, unappealing, shelf-warming choice for inclusion. Even a generic "Time Lord" would have been a more welcome option, I think.

I hate being negative about them. But as I was really disappointed by the final products of the LOST characters relative to prototypes that I also found unappealing, I'm having a hard time being enthused by these Dr Who entries. Sorry. :-/
