Thinking along the lines of tv tie ins (Isis) I personally wanted a Blue Falcon and Wonder Mutt.

Mxy and I could even use Mego logic to do it. "You know it would be more efficient if we just made new head, darked up Superman's outfit, slapped a new emblem on it and put out Bizarro".Comment

I actually really like Mxy, but I'd cut him, too. (Tarzan and Conan are tempting, though.)WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment

Oh, I wouldn't have cut Mxyzptlk since he was Superman's arch enemy and such an obvious choice to make as a character. He was all over the comics and TV. Plus, kids all loved that mischievous imp and I'm sure that without him it would have been tough to sell Superman. Kids don't want a superhero unless he has an oversized imp to fight. I'd have cut Green Goblin. Spiderman had too many enemies for a second tier character. Plus, what kid wants a villain with a purse? I'll add this additional point against Green Goblin: Name one Superman or Batman comic with Green Goblin on the cover? There you go. Green Goblin, you're out. The kids wouldn't even have missed him. It would be the same as not having some other random bad guy like Lex Luthor.
