Megoey. Definately. I mean look at the Mego Green Goblin. Sure he looks like some kind of twisted drag queen by todays standards, but that's makes him extra cool as far as vintage megos go.

I can certainly appreciate the realistic look of some customs and figures out there, but the real nostalgia comes from the more vintage style figures. Especially if they look like the cartoons/comic images from that period.

    Megoesque for me.

At one point in my customizing career my goal was to use every non-super hero Mego head for a super-hero or super villain custom. That way there was no disputing whether or not my custom was Megoesque.

    Mego-ey or realistic?

When you see or buy customs or "re-megos" as it were, do you like them more realistic or or Mego-like w/ plastic parts, or oven mitts, or interesting color choices and even the crooked little smiles?

Although I didn't own a lot of Megos as a kid, I knew kids who did. And I also watched all those commercials every day after school. Seeing the more Mego-ey look gives me the warm fuzzies, and just reminds me of when every kid you knew (even the girls) owned at least one Mego.

    What's your opinion?
