Actually, Zorro and 1999 are all under TV in our galleries.

The TV Set Would be Chips, Happy Days, Waltons, Dukes, S&H, GAH, 1999 and Zorro and Our Gang.

Zorro is of the same ilk as Tarzan. The character has featured in pulps, comic books, books and films. I've always thought that he would sit better with the WGSH category rather than TV.

Hey, I know if someone offered to give me either a TV set or a bunch of trading cards, I'd take the TV set. Mine's on the blink!

Of course you know that I think it would be a closer vote if the other series offered each figure on their own card. I do think the Oz figures probably sold more than Starsky & Hutch and Happy Days combined, so they do kind of deserve higher billing for that reason even though I'm not sure Oz Megos are as popular with Mego collectors today as the TV series.

There's just no way we are doing individual characters for TV. There's too many of them and none of them are strong enough to carry a card by themselves. I'm not doing a Ma Walton or a Chopper card. These cards are not going to go on forever, we have to make choices and this one is an easy one.

Oz is one of Megos great lines and one of our great pop-culture stories so it deserves full treatment. Personally, it's creatively interesting to me to illustrate the famous scenes from the film.

I agree, and i'm a big TV figures fan.

Doing a card for every figure would not only be costly and overly time consuming, it would also make the overall set too large and cumbersome.

It would wind up looking like a Topps Baseball set

I am going to gang up the votes on the TV properties, a vote for one is a vote for all of them.

And Scott is totally right, that Zorro is supposed to be Guy Williams.

I wasn't thinking about Our Gang, Space 1999 or Greatest American Hero. Without those it would have been about the same number of cards as the Legends series. I guess that means that each AJ outfit won't get its own card either! (by the way, I had really been looking forward to cards for Chopper and Ma Walton!)

I do like that idea for these cards. It's a cool way to go for them.

Zorro isn't even an 8" figure, is it ?

Not 8"? maybe the confusion comes from him being the King baby!! Zorro is deffinately 8 inches and needs the card treatment ASAP......its like leaving Moreno, Elway, and Montana out of the Hall of Fame....come on people lets get this figure in the hall of fame!!!! Way over due....I was hoping he would be squeezed in with the pirates or western heroes....ITS ZORROS TIME!!

I chose Happy days but it was close I also like the Dukes card I loved these 2 shows as a kid and still love to watch them to this day.
