Requesting info on Ebay seller roback2

GREAT, so What everyone's been infering, is that dealing with this guy on any level is just asking for trouble. What a way to jumpstart my Mego collection!

I"ll post an update if I hear back from him. I've already taken pics of it, as well as saved his auction pic to show what I should have received.

I think everyone might be inferring that they don't deal with him and have no idea what to say about him as a seller.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say he probably made a mistake...he has a massive collection so it may have just been a mistake on his part....i've bought a few things from him in the past,always happy....I don't know the story but i just didn't want a new mego collector to sweat......give him a few days and take it from there....

I'd think that wanting new (to mego) collectors to have info to keep them from getting ripped off would be important, but if earning a good rep here in Mego land first is what it takes to get info,Fair enough man. IF it's just hobby politics, I try to avoid those, but if he's a scammer (which reluctance to give info could lead me to believe that he is) I'd like to know sooner rather than later please.

I plan on being around for a while,and hopefully making some friends here. I'm trying to assemble a decent assortment of the Megos I had as a kid, all decent condition (c8ish) MIB/MOC. I'm trying to avoid "starter" pieces, or anything that I'd need to upgrade later.

I messaged him yesterday via Ebay. No reply yet, and to be fair to him, a days wait for a reply isn't a big deal. I've seen him selling other Mego's and just wanted to see if others viewed him as an honest seller (mostly to quell my fears of potentially being taken on this piece)

I think the best thing to do is just do it all through ebay ... This way they can keep track of what's happening (incase it don't get resolved and you put in for a refund from Paypal).

For now, give him a few days to respond (but not too long)

I would use the RESOLVE A PROBLEM link. It usually gets more attention.

The other site don't have too much traffic lately, so it's possible they haven't activated your new acount because they just haven't checked in yet... (just a guess)
