    New Here and some questions

Hey guys, this is my first post here.
A little background: I discovered the site a couple months ago and about 95% of what I know about Megos, I learned here.
I decided to replace some of what I had as a kid (can't afford to replace everything) since all that stayed with me was a Mr. Myx. I had WGSH (8" and bendys), POTA, and Trek.
I figured my username should be something action figurish so I went off of a Heros of the American Revolution figure I had which I have recently replaced.
Anyway, I have looked for the following and haven't found it yet on the forums, so if these have been addressed somewhere else please direct me.
1.Where in the forums can I find more info or discussion on the bendys?
2.I hope one day to acquire a Green Arrow NIB (I prefer the box because that's how mine came). How much would be overpaying? (I've seen them from $600 to $995)
3.Which ebay sellers should I avoid? I've done okay so far, but I thought some of y'all might clue me in on the bad apples.
    Thanks.

Hi and welcome to the forum!

You can find a bit more info on the Mego bendies here:

The price on a boxed Green Arrow can vary greatly, depending on box condition, the whims of buyers, etc., but personally, I've found decent ones go for roughly between $200-$375 on ebay (but one with a truly top grade box could go higher). It's good that you would prefer a boxed one because a carded one (regular or Kresge) would be considerably rarer and more expensive, to say the least.

Check out some old threads in the "Auction Watch" forum, and you may get an idea of sellers that you may want to stay away from.

    Hope you enjoy it here!
    -Chris

              Hi and welcome aboard.

I'd agree with Chris on pricing, but I'd put a decent MIB Green Arrow closer to the $300-375 side of that range.

As far as sellers to avoid, my advice is to just stick around this place. As you get to know people here, you'll get to know sellers you can trust and of whom you can ask questions. I can't tell you how many times I've been given a heads-up when I've placed a bid on a suspicious auction or found about a bad item in Auction Watch. I had no idea what I didn't know until I started walking these halls.

              Enjoy.

Welocme Aboard. A Decent Boxed Ga Should Be At Least 250-400. A Real Nice One Will Be About Double Or Maybe 950.

Welcome JPJ if you ever have any other questions feel free to ask. There are a ton of people here and at least one expert on every different toy line Mego produced.

I myself am the expert on "Comical Cosmo".

Thanks guys, nice to be here.
Hey, there is a possibility that after the success of the KISS figures that had MEGO not gone under, there were some Led Zep figures on the drawing board.

I seriously doubt Led Zeppelin had a chance. The Bee Gees, on the other hand, were a distinct possibility.
