In a way,I can understand why this didn't get made. How many parents who bought the first version,would want to shell out money on another one?

As much as i love the bridge playset that hit the store this one would have kicked A** and goes to show the STAR TREK could have been there all time best line had they keep it going just imagine a large starship Enterprise made like the Wayne Foundation and a fourth and five wave of new figures

What I find most interesting is all this Trek stuff was discussed in 1977. During the summer/fall of 77', Paramount had green lit the soon to be aborted Phase II tv series. Mego obviously would know about this, and I'm betting a lot of the product discussion may have been generated by an attempt to build the Trek license up to capitalize on the "sure thing" sales a newly announced Trek series would have brought at the time.

When I saw the "Crow's Nest" it immediately made me think of this bottom image I have seen before from Phase II


On the other hand, I would dearly miss the transporter.

Yeah, I've seen 3 Earth Humans from the past wondered how to order Trek Crew's foods like that.

It would be incredible to see some CAH Trek figures. Ever notice we don't we have any CAH customizers?
