I would go back to 4th grade right now if I could find a Bruce Wayne head on the walk home. It'd even be worth being teased for my gargantuan-ism.

I do love the 12" bat version, and I had that as a kid, but I didn't have any 8" batman until getting back into mego. When I looked around for batman I had seen the RC version on the early museum, but the price and the whole blue-nose potentiality made me shy away. I even found a SI Bruce head at an antique show for cheap, but didn't know there was a difference between the RC and SI... I ended up selling it to a museum member as an RC, just because I knew I wouldn't track down a cowl and I'd be worried about dye transfer.

I finally buckled and ordered DM version parts when I saw he had them factory produced, and I swapped my molded over to RC as soon as they came in. RC re-mego is now one of my favorite megos and I'll never go back. I view molded bats as a placebo now.

Molded cowl Batman was the first MEGO WGSH that I ever owned, and it's still my favorite. I never even knew about the removable cowl version until the mid 90s.

Molded cowl for me. RC doesn't fit too well in the Batmobile and you know Batman has to have his ride.

When I was a kid I was shocked when I heard it existed and wanted one
            badly but never got one.

Nowadays I have not interest in one because it just looks awkward
            comparitively to the molded one.

Molded. I like the look of it and there's no mask to lose.

RC, looks cooler than the molded one

RC. I owned the molded as a kid, but think it looks like crap compared to the RC one. The RC version always had that Adam West style I liked and the molded has a generic feel to it.

Molded, he was my pal as a kid, I don't hate the RC one but it doesn't trigger the childhood toy love.

I got the RC Batman and Robin at age 7 too - it was the coolest toy EVER!

I remember using the window box as a shower to have a reason for Batman
to take off the costume. I always loved the pages in the comics when he
would be in the Batcave in costume with the mask off. Same thing with
Peter Parker in the Spidey suit holding his mask.

RC when he's not actually wearing it. I don't think it looks good on. I'd rather see it under his arm.

I would have to say molded. Never had the RC as a kid and actually didn't know of it's existance until my late teens.

My thoughts exactly! As a kid I loved the idea you could change Batman into Bruce Wayne entirely. I actually made a closet/secret compartment for his costume in my Mego Batcave when I was a kid. Plus the countless adventures I had with his enemies trying to unmask him or steal his costume to try and become him. It was endless.
