hi all,
i wanted to ask everyone what their most expensive mego purchase has been to date. i'm sure we've all had that sick to the stomach feeling of pulling that cash out of our wallets or sending out that paypal payment to make the big purchase but of course in retrospect you feel good about the deal/ well at least you should feel good about that deal
i wouldnt recommend showing this thread to your significant others 
anyways, the most i've spent is $2000 on a complete, dead mint unused super pristine alter ego clark kent. it took me a while to find one in that c-10 condition and when i did, i was kinda wishing i never came across it. it was a buy it now on ebay and i was sweating bullets, but i ponied up the cash and hid the bill from my wife. 
this was back around 2000 when alter egos weren't showing up too often and repro parts/heads were not as common.
