^^ you know, when you blow the best pics of the shirts up and put them side by side with a DM shirt, they have the same material "pattern"...so I'm leaning more in the direction of DM now on the shirts/ties.

Also looks like someone replaced the snaps with vintage snaps to give it a more vintage look..

Both shirts look DM, AE shirts are not bright white like that, Wayne's blue tie could have been added, I don't think i've seen Wayne's tie that long in length that it drops significantly below the waste line. Hard to tell from those pics.

I've seen different widths on the ties, so these could just be some on the wider end of the spectrum.

They both look legit to me - and Chuck's right. Those are some of the cleanest looking shirts I've ever seen photographed.

I agree about the ties looking too wide

    Still some nice gear there!

    Hi.
Thanks for the input. I anxiously await some other opinions.

The other figures in the lot had very little wear. The heads are nice with little to no wear. Maybe the kid didn't play much with the figures.

The BW shirt has a light blue tie, not a dark blue like a Dr. Mego repro.

Thanks....anyone else have these figures to compare and comment?

The shirts are the only thing that throw me off. they look so new. If they are original they some of the cleanest, non-yellowed versions I've seen from a played with collection. This kid must have washed his hands every 5 minutes and only played in the house. The ties seem wider like DM's too. The snaps are too weathered to not be original so the jackets should be good. If the RC Batman was swapped, that other auction was a little bit better. Even so the clothes in mint shape are not an easy score. It wasn't cheap but it is some holy grail level stuff.

Recently won an auction.....Was waiting for figures to arrive.
I am seeking the members here opinion on these items.
I have taken photos of them. The links are below.

    Here goes:

    Bruce Wayne

Head: Has NPP Inc. 1972 on back. Makes me think the RC Batman in the other auction by same seller may have the BW head with no markings. Being so similar, a kid probably just played with it and mixed them up.
If anyone here won the other lot, please let me know.
Also anyone have an original BW head?.....LOL!

I tried to compare the items to the MM photos.

Pants/Jacket-- The jacket indeed has the Mego label in it. The pattern/color/buttons seem correct.

Shirt/Tie. The tie is light blue in color, not navy like a Dr. Mego repro.
Shirt seems right....... Please look at photos lmk what you think .

Shoes- Shoes do not have any Dr. Mego markings. Seem original.

    Clark Kent:

Head: No markings on back of head. Original head.

Jacket/Pants: Jacket has Mego label in it. Seems right color.

Shirt/Tie: Tie is red color....Shirt seems right...please look at photos and lmk what you think.

Shoes: Shoes do not have any Dr. Mego markings. Seem original.

I took photos with and without a flash.

    Thanks for all your help.

Click the links to the photos. If you click on them, the photos should enlarge.
I will also take more photos if requested. Please give me feedback on these two items. Again, many thanks!
