A few times, I've run across an older woman who wants to clean all of her grown children's things out and really doesn't know the price of all that 70s goodness. Hey, I'm not about to correct her and shell out more money. And I don't feel the least bit guilty 'cos I got a good deal!

i won a whole load of "the shadow" moc and boxed toys for $0.01c

not that any one in there right mind would ever want it as ive had it for years and years now and no one has ever sniffed at it

but for that kind of money i just had to have it

also won an original def jam recordings tour crew leather jacket for $20 i enjoyed selling that for big money here in uk

I may buy more items from that dealer than I would otherwise.

I remember being at a show in England and bought several rare
pieces here that were cheap there because they were more
common. The dealer gave me a Cyberman in good condition
    as a thank you.

i wish i filmed the other orders that came but i never thought about it again after id filmed this one..shame cos memories are great..i must state i did this all one handed as i was holding the camera to film and open boxes with other hand so was a little shabby the guy was happy with what i gave him... i made offers he said yes.... i was more than happy .... these were his old kid day toys from the loft

I always felt a little guilty getting the Kresge carded Batman and Kresge carded yellow-sleeved Robin for $100 each and sell them for... well, a lot more than I paid for them.

Well aint you the Flim-Flam man!

Just kidding. If they set the price it is a bargain.Go and play wth your new megos in the car on the way home. If you chewed them down to $5, the the lord of mego is going to snap all your t2 rubber bands!

I would feel bad if I ripped someone off, but if they list it at that then it's not my fault. If I don't take it the next guy will
    sums it up for me.

    Never.

Because it's the seller's fault for not knowing the value, and not valuing it more than they do.

I am in the business of knowing what I have, and what it is worth. It's just a side business, but one day I hope to make it my ONLY business, and when that time comes, I will have to maintain stock. The only way to do that is to know more than the people I'm buying from, as well as to know just who it is I'm selling TO.
