Woo hoo!
This thing is completely and totally awesome. Hats off to the entire team for seeing this project through to the end. Amazing, amazing job!
All I can say is w00t! I won't spoil what the cool extra is.
And the coolest thing about this is looking through the Trek and DC hero sections at stuff like Chekov, Sulu, Orion Slave Girl, Salt Vampire, Green Lantern, and Lex Luthor, and knowing I bought them all at retail in the last two years, or will be able to buy them soon.
(Actually, how cool would it be to have as a future companion piece a Mego 2010 printed catalog that included all new product that's come out this year? Retroactively including EMCE Trek and Apes, of course. But imagine, the first page is the ACTUAL SuperCollector and Brick Mantooth, followed by pages for Mattel Retro Heroes, Twilight Zone, Dark Shadows, Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers, Heroes In Action, LOST, Venture Brothers, Real Ghost Busters, and Dexter? You could even throw in Heroes in Action Obama and Lincoln, and Anthrax guy in there.)
That would be ALMOST as cool as this AMAZING piece of work now sitting in my hot little hands! Go team Mego Museum!
