The shipping price is priority mail international so that the package
    can be tracked.

I shipped two Green Arrows to Thomas via air mail and there was
much gnashing of teeth waiting for the package to arrive - and
    no way to track it.

Shipping is based on weight, not size. And a premium is put on
the ability to track. When I ship something to China, it costs
about $60 because I can track it every step of the way.
True, it took a while to get here, but that's because the postal service screwed up and sent the package to San Salvador first. In the end it got here and if they hadn't screwed up it would've arrived on a very timely manner, like all the packages I've received from the US and Canada. I understand Spectre Toys and the need for protection, but if shipping is almost as expensive as the 2 figures itself, it takes the fun out of collecting for us international clients. For that reason I won't be getting these, even tho I really like them. Sad but true

I hope this line at least expands to Quentin, I'd love an Adam too but that's probably unlikely.

All excellent choices! I’d also like to see Maggie Evans (in her waitress outfit), Victoria Winters and Elizabeth Collins Stoddard (yeah, I know, not particularly exciting “play-wise”, but iconic characters from the show all the same --I mean, Barnabas has to have someone to bite, right?) Speaking of which, I guess we need Willie Loomis as well...

I would love to get a Ben Cross as Barnabas figure too, maybe in a two-pack with Victoria Winters. That 90's miniseries was my first exposure to Dark Shadows.

I agree, tracking is a beautiful thing, for buyer and seller. Shame that tracking from Hong Kong and China is often just $5 extra (nothing at all), and tracking from other countries is so much more, making it unaffordable for us international collectors.
You know, I'm not going to continue with debating about this. I'll just stop buying the figures. Seems like the biggest advocates of high shipping are the ones not paying for it.
And that's the last I'll say about it.
