I've just place my order. These look gorgeous, although that do on Angelique looks sculpted to me.

A hairstyle that intricate CANNOT be done in 1:9 scale, I don't care what you tell me.

I'd like to see Josette eventually.

Really looking forward to these, but I'm not pre-ordering. Have had a bad experience once, so I don't order anymore unless the product is in hand. If that means I'll miss out on these then that is very much a shame cause I really like these. But I hate the limoted to 500 exclusive werewolf, he'll be impossible to get.
And Tim Burton and Johnny Depp working on a Dark Shadows movie? AWESOME, this is right up their alley

Just out of curiosity I checked the shipping price for the set ($37.99) and it's $36.95
Now I'm definitely not pre-ordering, guess no Barnabas and Angelique for me

Awesome!!!!! Looks to be the start of an amazing line (pre-orders placed, thank you!)

Bummer on the SDCC exclusive, though. Guess it’ll be eBay for me (unless EE ends up with a few remainders like the FLASH GORDON exclusives from last year).

They just showed up on the EE site today as well.
There is a bit closer shot of the Barnabas there. The sculpt is fantastic.
Really excited about this line. I hope this sort of 'retro show + retro toy' thing takes off and we see more and more of these sort of things

They also do BSG eh? Perhaps there is a possibility we get them in Mego Format as well!

Dark Shadows figures look like a very high quality product!

I was interested until I read the "limited production" and "exclusive" parts of the news release above.

                    I'm sure we'll find a way.

In order to ship to Belgium - there is a trade off - either pay for
priority mail international or pay less in shipping and wait the
                      6+ weeks for delivery.

Then how come something like this, which is huge as you can tell from the toys surrounding it, costs only $19.36 to ship to Belgium? And it won't take 6 weeks to get here

Spectre Toys has asked me to respond for them on this forum.

The shipping price is priority mail international so that the package
                              can be tracked.

I shipped two Green Arrows to Thomas via air mail and there was
much gnashing of teeth waiting for the package to arrive - and
                              no way to track it.

Shipping is based on weight, not size. And a premium is put on
the ability to track. When I ship something to China, it costs
about $60 because I can track it every step of the way.

I have to agree with Doc...tracking is ABSOLUTELY necessary! It protects the Seller's reputation, it's the only proof you sent it.
