The Top Five Retro Action Heroes We'd Like To See

I don't know if this is top five and I know exclusives are scalper's delight, but I've suggested to Doc that there be web exclusive Secret ID kits made of heads and outfits for Green Arrow and Green Lantern, as well as any future heros. Talk about hitting the Mego nostalgia sweet spot, eh?

Who came up with that list? I don't mind any being made, but if we're talking wave 3 here there are at least a dozen other characters who should be made before these. Well, Flash definitely has a chance of being in wave 3, Brainiac maybe, but not the other 3, not in wave 3.

5.)Darkseid(someone Superman can really FIGHT!)

Apache Chief should also be a 12 inch figure. Or maybe an 18 inch figure. They could re-use the Lex head and make Brainiac out if it.

Definite yes on Flash and Cheetah. I honestly don't remember a thing about Apache Chief. I might add Solomon Grundy to the list though.

Cool list. My personal list would include only heroes:

5) BatGirl with proper removable mask. Why Mego did her mask that way is beyond me.

4) Flash. I mean C'mon already!

3) Plastic Man. I'm torn on whether or not I'd want him stretchy but 2 versions would be cool.

2) Robin. 7". Plastic glove cuffs like Magnetic Robin so he can hold the cool batarang he'll come with. Hair parted on the side and a removable mask with the angled area above the brows similar to the Mego 9" Robin.

1) HawkMan. Complete with poseable wings, mace and removable helmet. I'd sacrifice the removable helmet for just a good version of him. He's been #1 on my list since I was about 5 or 6.

I never was a big Plastic man fan, but that list wouldn't disappoint me in the least. I would probably rather have Black Vulcan than Apache, but hopefully they'll do both. Flash is a must.

I'd go for that list. If you are throwing in existing Megos, then I'd have to say Robin and Wonder Woman need to come next. But Flash tops the list. Despite recent trends, historically, he has always been more popular than Green Lantern, so he's even more overdue than you think.
