are you doing bench top production or line production? a
simple floor design is best. maybe have part of a semi-circle yellow line and/or writing stating : caution Vehicle parking

I have to go with cheaper is better. you could buy two backdrops (and a coke) for the price of one with a bottom. You could always make a generic base to sell seperately? Instead of snaps, sell the base with velcro tape so the customer could attach it to the backdrops. I've replaced some of the snaps on my Bridge set with heavy duty velcro, and it holds together just dandy!
