A couple days ago I asked for opinions on some simple vinyl backdrops in Mego playset style Mego display backdrops - Mego Talk
This is a slightly more complicated style that has a floor component (this floor is plain, but it can have artwork as well.). The whole thing unfolds and snaps together in one easy step. Then you can fold it up and snap it closed for storage or transport.
I'm curious as to whether or not you think the fold up snap together aspect is useful enough or cool enough to bother with. To me, it's a cool gimmick, very Mego-ey, takes a backdrop and gives it a little wow factor, but it's more complicated and more expensive.
It adds expense in parts and labor, if the simple ones go for $13 I think this would have to go for $28.
Thanks for you input!
Dida Backdrop Pack

You could also compare this to the Tri-box Stage I made, where the backdrop can be turned into a Carrying Case. This is a lot more work to make and more work to put together. I don't think most of us actually carry our figures anywhere, so the utility of this design is questionable.
