This morning at the Merrillville Indiana Toys R Us they had a full stock two of each Superman, Green Lantern, and Sinestro and three Lex Luthors, so I purchased on of each of the GLs and Sinestros! And for all the MOTUC lovers out there they had a few of the He-Man / Superman and Lex Luthor / Skeletor two packs available as well!

10 years ago we would have said --- wouldn't it be great seeing Mego's in the store again .... but secretly we all knew it would never happen.

Sometimes I wonder if all this is a elaborate mass hysteria dream

Van Nuys, CA had them this morning.

Not sure about the case assortment, but they had multiple Luthors on the pegs, and only 1 GL.

Finally found two sets at Polaris Mall. Having them in hand, Sinestro is my favorite while the cheeser pictured prefers Luthor. Of the two sets, I think we found a good Supes and Sinestro. The GL we chose came pre-snagged with a cracking emblem, and Luthor is pre-snagged as well. The other GL had the emblem well off center, and the other Luthor had stains on his noggin to go with the snags. The Supes we left looked like he was really loose, with his torso being "popped."

We opened Lex tonight; saved the rest for tomorrow. Aside from the snags, Lex should be fine on a new body. My son loves the Kryptonite, but he's disappointed that Lex can't actually hold it. The wet noodle legs don't bother him at all, nor did the flimsy card.....just made it easier for him to rip it open.

It is great to be able to open them so easily, as opposed to the over-zealous packaging on most toys these days.

Finally hit the shelves up here on Thursday. I checked the 3 toysrus around me and 2 had them. I got Supes, Sinestro, and Lex (unstitched). passed on GL cause his package was crushed. Didn't see any stitched Luthors or I would have bought on. Kal-el did you see them at colonie tru?

Found two Lexes at the Lexington TRU. Left the unstitched one. I would have liked to have found the rest, but I didn't expect to find ANY, so it was good.

Lex looks good with the Megos. It's been a long time coming. Again, the crazy legs are a bit off, but compared to issues with all of the 9" figures that came close to Mego, it's not a big concern. A body swap may happen eventually.

It is odd how they hang on the pegs though. A well-placed butterfly hole would fix that.

It depends on where the plastic hook was attached on the back of the card.

If the worker put it in the middle of the card, the balance is off and the card
                                hangs at an angle.
If the worker put the hook behind the figure - where the weight is - the
                                card hangs normally.
