Retro Action Heroes Hit the Shelves

York, PA hits paydirt today. 2 complete sets were on the shelf at 1pm. I bought 1 set, Pay attention Megosteve! If you want more than what you have... Oh what a feeling!

I have a Lex Luthor, Green Arrow and Sinestro. Pretty impressed so far. For some reason my Sinetro is "loose". Like he feels he can't be positioned.

I bought another Green Lantern and Superman in Port Huron, Mi today. Sterling Heights, Mi should have theirs tomorrow.

got a set in Austin, TX today.

Called the south TrU store last night on a whim and the manager told me he had just stocked them. I asked him to hold a set for me. When I went in to pick them up today, they still had a Sinestro and Green Lantern on the shelves. So - maybe Supes are gonna be hard to find due to his recognition in the hero world to non-comic reading moms dads and grans? I would suppose Lex is coming in second due to his ties with Supes? Too bad; Sinestro is my favorite of the bunch. That is an awesome headsculpt. I hope my Supes body is not too wonky as he is going to my son. Doesn't really matter, tho. I will enjoy the experiment of tightening the Mattel body up if it does not perform. The Green Arrow we have has held up rather well, tho his legs have always snapped back into standing position and slightlly knock kneed.

good hunting to anyone in the Austin TX area. I would assume the North store should get theirs in this week or next.

I went to Indianapolis today on business. I call one store, nothing. The second, jackpot. Twenty minutes later I see the whole set at toys r us. I picked up another green lantern. He also has a small chip on his nose and the emblem looks like it was stretched. I don't care that much because just seeing them there reminded me of went I went to visit my Aunt in San Francisco and she took me to toys r us and bought me a superman. I hope this generation has this type of memory when they are 41. Pretty Cool.

Nothing yet in Staten Island. My wife was at the SI Mall tonight across form the TRU. I called TRU, hoping they would have them, so I could send my wife over to pick some up. The lady on the phone said they have none. I will be in Brooklyn tomorrow and the Bronx on Saturday. I'll check the TRUs there, too.

Those 4 pegs in Joliet IL have now been reduced to only 1! 2 of each new figure but only on one peg. Not spread out like on Sunday last. Yet this 75th Anniversary Batman figure has 6 pegs. 6 pegs for the SAME figure. Don't get it.
