So; question for Joe and Doc then: Are you going to offer the superfat body and the female body (I am assuming a new body) for sale seperately?Comment

OK. Thanks for the super quick responses BBP. You guys are really on the ball and obviously very excited and supportive of your product.

Does that mean Flash Gordon might have some "bulked up Arms"?After all, he is suppose to be a Football Player...and would look kinda wimpy on a standard EMCE Body(especially with that strap T-Shirt he wears).sigpicComment

Thanks for the awesome info flow and responses to all our questions. I wish you well on your new reMego adventures.Comment

Jason - I figured the fat body was due to be done anyway - but it's your call
how you want to do Hurley. Both options are available.
Given the projects that are already filling Joe and my respective plates, and
given that BBP is very familiar with this scale, we are glad to lend as much
or as little support as Jason wants. EMCE is all about working with partners
at their comfort level.Comment

Personally, I prefer a fat-body to a fat-suit. The comic Toad figure from the Famous Cover line had a pot-belly-suit that wasn't the most convincing.Comment

You're right, they're going to show them in NY for press and retailers on EMCE's boot.
EDIT: New Lost 8 inch prototypes showed up for an August 2010 release: Hurley, Locke and Ben 8 inch action figuresLast edited by ActionJon; Feb 4, '10, 5:38 AM.Comment

I had to register so I could weigh in on this post.
I’m very excited about these recent developments. I’m 99% interested in your Venture Brothers line(s), but those LOST figures do look interesting; Locke in particular.
I was born in the 80’s, so my MEGO knowledge stems from reading Twister MEGO Theater in ToyFare before they stopped trying. The only MEGO figures I could afford was a Captain America with nothing but his blue jumpsuit and a Spider-Man with a broken leg that had been taped in place. That being said, I loved the Famous Covers line and my current favorite toy on my desk is Mezco’s 8” Gomez figure.
I’m not sure if it’s in line with the retro-feel this line may be going for, but I would be in favor of updated sculpted pieces such as hands. I like my toys to be able to hold their accessories. Which brings me to another question: will the Venture Brothers line include accessories? I think that’s where this line could truly shine.
As I mentioned before, the only MEGO figures I have are from the original series and they didn’t hold up too well. Do these new figures have improved articulation? Are they still held together by rubber bands?
I can’t wait to see the toys. Go Team Venture!Comment
