    Wishes

So, New School Mego has made a lot of my childhood wishes come true:
*Ceaser, New Soldier Ape, Taylor, Brent, Mutant
    *Hammer Dracula
    *Hammer Cushing
    *Creature from...
    *Bruce Lee
    *Demon Etrigan
*Others that I can't think of right now (Dang Guinness!).

    Here's a couple I'd LOVE to see:
*The Phantom -Lee Falk's (no Operas or Manaces)
*Sleestak (sp?) Surely, Creature... got us halfway there, clothing-wise.

There's more that I'll think of tomorrow (Again, dang Guinness!)

    Any thoughts on my chances?

What wishes are you hoping may come to pass?

I'd LOVE to see the Phantom and other King Features characters. And of course, I've wanted Land of the Lost Megos for decades.

But I can never guess accurately what Mego Corp will do--I've wanted the same six Star Trek: TOS for ages and no sign of them so far.

For Mego 50th, I think a repro Jet Jungle figure would be fantastic. They already have the tooling, hint-hint.

WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I've been happy with the new "Planet of the Apes" figures they came out with.

That said it'd be great if they came up with a *new* head sculpt(s) Soldier Ape(s), Julius, an updated/new head sculpt Urko, Lucius, Milo, the Orangutans from "Planet" (Maximus, Honorius, & President), slave Gorilla/Chimp/Orangutan, Aldo, Virgil, Lisa, Kolp, TV zaius, Landon & Dodge, Nova, Wild humans (male & female), Hunt Leader, Armando, and the list could go on...

I would love to see a repro Jet Jungle figure, the fittest man in the world. Mego passed selling him to the US market and sold only to the UK and South African market, which I understand since at the time it was a local radio show. I used to have a copy of it, thought it was interesting, but a bit confusing at the same time. Does anyone know if the Mego Tarzan was available to the SA market back in the day? JJ was sort of a Tarzan/James Bond mix, would of been a nice team up.

I would like to see the Hulk body used more. I thought for sure they would employ it for Jack Kirby's Demon. I think it would be good for Thor, as well, instead of those spindly little doll arms.

Of the super heroes, I'd most like to see a Spider-Woman, ideally with sculpted hair

Only Ken and Berg Katse from Battle of the Planets/Gatchaman

I wonder where the rights are for Greatest American Hero

I just want them to finish a few lines. TOS crew with Rand, Chapel and M'Benga. Nova for POTA.

Wishful thinking we get classic Storm, Wolverine, Cyclobs and Beast for X-Men

I remember EMCE Diamond Select had a Nurse Chaple prototype but the character was never released, she was pictured on the Capt. Pike and Salt Vampire card along with Orion girl Vina.

I have the old Cast A Way Toys Phantom, and can't think of a single thing Mego could do better to improve upon it. But I also know that figure has been out of production for years, and it's time we get the character again, Along with a Flash Gordon.

As for what I personally want? Well, aside feom certain individuals at the top to be ousted, I'd like to see more Tokusatsu.
Looking for Green Arrow accessories, Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver, and Japanese Popy Megos (Battle Cossack and France, Battle of the Planets, Kamen Rider, Ultraman) and World Heroes figures

So if my understanding is correct, we will get 4 more Marvel 4-packs this year. If they reproduce every vintage figure (minus Conan) then we should get 7 new characters. I want far more than 7. Just in villains alone I can name: Dr Doom, Ultron, Doc Oc, Vulture, Scorpion, Loki, Hobgoblin, Kingpin, Red Skull, Thanos, Kraven...

Outside of Marvel - yes, please - a Sleestak

Tiny Plastic Men, I forget his new name, did a killer Ragman. If ever a character from that era deserved the soft goods treatment, it's Ragman. If Mego can make it half as good, I'll buy it.

I would like to see every hero get at least 1-2 arch villains to even off with, I realize Spidey would be the exception, just like Batman would be the exception in his case. I would actually like to see Marvel come out with Conan, even if it’s just a single boxed version.

While I' LOVE to see Mego do 3.75", Hasbro's recent foray into this scale for Marvel didn't go over well. I have several. The toys are incredible. Great quality. It's like the toyline that never was. The Ghost Rider set is incredible.

If Mego could make it work somehow (maybe blind boxes?) I'd LOVE to see it, but I don't wanna see Mego fail.

I'd like to see Mego explore the 90s...

Hercules and Xena would be amazing!

Brisco County Jr would also be rad.

A sub line dedicated to Batman the Animated series would be cool too.

and animated based figures in general like

                              Archie and the gang

                              Tintin and his crew,

                              Battle of the Planets, etc..

There are also so many great movies to draw figures from...

                              Billy Jack

Steven Seagal in a black button up shirt and blue jeans like he wears in everyone of his early movies...

                              Driver from the movie Drive

                              Patrick Bateman

Starship Troopers (though It would have to be a deluxe figure due to all the new tooling)

                              Highlander movie and TV series...

                              Big Trouble in Little China!!
