When you really think about it capes look kind of stupid on Super Heroes
But then again, wearing your underpants over your tights is kind of stupid too
Capes do serve one good purpose ... They cover the Super Heroes backside so we are not constantly treated with gratuitous images of their muscular heroic buttocks when they fight.Last edited by Mikey; Sep 12, '09, 12:40 AM.Comment

If realism enters the discussion at any point, I would be much more inclined to think some guy on the street fighting crime in a cape is a kook than I would about someone who just likes to do it with a funny looking mask.
