One I forgot: The Andy Griffith Show! Still heavily syndicated in the 70s. Heck, it STILL is. And Mego had a relationship with Paramount (Trek, Happy Days) so it makes sense.
Maybe they could make an Opie and do poor Ron Howard justice after the Richie Cunningham misfire!
Oh, and your Don Knotts figure could team-up with Scooby-Doo!

Some really great ideas here. I could totally picture a Mego ATeam. Since they did make several celebrity dolls, I could totally picture them expanding on that. How about David Bowie, Pam Grier/Foxy Brown, Partridge Family(specifically Susan Dey and David Cassidy), the Ramones(specifically from Rock'n Roll High School), and Grease(I hate it too, but it was huge) - They could even reuse the John Travolta sculpt for Saturday Night Fever. I'm also kind of surprised that they didn't make I Love Lucy dolls in Mego scale(until CTVT showed up). The show was off the air, but it reran for years.Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?
Check out my customs!

I wonder if any documentation exists that shows some ideas they may have considered and maybe even tried to buy the rights but they couldn't come to an agreement? (ie: weren't cheap enough, LOL)
Must be someone still around who remembers lines they may have wanted to pursue but didn't for one reason or another?
