Battle of the Planets would have been nice to see. Also like the idea of a Scooby Doo line. How about some of the Hanna-Barbera action cartoons - like Space Ghost, Birdman, and the Herculoids. I think I would have enjoyed those as a kid.
How about some great cartoons?
Space Ghost
Jonny Quest
Birdman

I'm surprised at all the 60's TV show requests. Don't think Mego woulda been making many figures based on shows that were 10 years canceled.
That said, I think Sid & Marty Krofft and Mego are the perfect fit. Both colorful and goofy and totally 70's. Sigmund, Land of the Lost, Bugaloos. Almost ANY of their shows woulds made FANTASTIC Mego figures.....
There are lines from the 70's mego lost that I know they would have done better (like smdm and galactica) and some I don't think they could have done as well (liek emergency and SWAT) but can you imagine what they could have done with some of the early 80's lines galoob got like A team and Knight rider. I would like to have seen Buck in 8" format and they could have really rocked TJ hooker

.
Um.....Star Trek? My personal request, Dark Shadows, was at least alive in the early 70s, unlike Trek, and has remained as much alive in syndication as the original ST.
Looking for spare Action Jackson Army Helmet
Action Jackson Aussie Marine

Well, yes, but Star Trek was the exception not the rule--sorta unique in it's second wave of 70's merchandising....
But anyway, I'm with ya, Dark Shadows figures woulda been awesome--and I did watch this show in syndication in the mid 70's and it scared the bejeezus outta me....
