what's done is done guys, the megostore thread was up for a long time. If you've been here a year, I don't see how you would miss it. Most of the people who were angry on the delayed shipping eventually got there stuff, so I guess it was right to remove it after a while

NO NEED TO YELL WITH THE ALL CAPS THING. I CAN READ.

Okay, let's say for a minute Joe is all you say he is as a business man. I wont argue it. People have been posting these problems for a long time. You can be 100% right or wrong here and it matters not to me.

My issue is with the implication that all the Megostore threads are being removed. That's a load of crap and implies the Museum is hiding the issue or protecting Joe.

As I've said, most of the threads were left in place. Nasty comments about his person were removed. Repeat posters were removed. If an issue was resolved, it was removed.
If you used public museum threads over and over and over in an attempt to resolve your issue, those were removed. Once is plenty, but we're not going to let the museum be turned into a giant complaint department for Megostore, Castaway or anyone else. Threads to expose bad sellers are meant to educate other members to possible issue they might have if they buy from the seller. That is encouraged, but some want to use the forums to scream to high heaven for resolution to a problem or as a way to communicate to a seller that wont respond to them. That isn't what the forums are here for. State your issue and move on and attempt to get personal issues resolved privately. If Joe, Dave, Jason, Austin, or anyone else doesn't answer an email or PM here, a SINGLE message to the boards that you had a bad experience with a seller is enough. You've done your duty, you've warned the community. The public forums are not places for you to communicate to a single individual. They are not to be used for to settle private differences.

Joe may be wrong. Joe may be a dirty, nasty thieving son of a *****, all that may be true, but we've been pretty good about letting people have their say about that issue. We've not hidden ANYTHING.

I've never jumped into this but feel it's time to do so.
Anyone who has been on this list for a year or so should know the deal with Megostore so to those people, you had the info right there and should know that in some cases it did take an extremely long time to receive orders.

My concern is to those who are new to the list and how it can and has reflected on the list. Dave & Brian have done ALL they can to let everyone know that there is NO association of the two entities. Still with the names being so close the correlation is there, justified or not.

In regard to Toyman's mention of comments being erased. I remember a couple of times that Joe himself said that he erased a comment that was made. I'm sure it was over the top and not a constructive comment, but it was deleted. I also know that Dave would never delete a comment to protect anyone or to make himself look good or anything else for that matter.

The real deal here is buyer beware, that goes for any place you buy from. Do your due diligence before you hit that confirmation button. I have no idea why Joe has the issues he has but there is always some "reason" for being behind. I like joe, he's a good guy a great dad but a bad manager of his time. That is why I have chosen not to buy from him unless it was at mego meet where I have the item in hand.

In the end to bring the Museum / Dave and Brian into it is unfair. They have done everything in their power to see that this worked itself out and so far the issue remains. But it is not theirs to deal with. However, if they don't allow comments on the board it seems as they are protecting Joe, which they aren't. If they allow comments then someone takes it too far or another expects them to ban joe or something else which doesn't make sense either.

Again buyer beware and hopefully one day Joe will get his act together. It can only mean more business for him if he does and alot less grief for the museum.

I usually don't respond to these kinds of threads because to be honest, they're just not my bees wax ... but I do feel the need to say my piece on this one ....

Joe is one of the most honest and nicest guys i've ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Joes does a lot of good things behind the scenes that most people will never know of - because he doesn't pat himself on the back and ask for a thanks.

Yes, sometimes Joe has some problems with shipping quickly and responding to emails.
That doesn't make him a dishonest or bad person ... If anything, it just makes him a lazy person ... sometimes

As far as the Museum staff deleting threads ... That's a big NO WAY.

I've known these people for almost 10 years...
I know what kind of people they are ...
Deleting and hiding things is not in their nature.

I know my comments above doesn't settle anything and people are still going to believe what they want, but I just felt the need to say my piece.

                            Thanks
