just had a Banana Split

OK? what does this have to do with megos you ask? welll...when I was a wee one I would use the "boat" the split came in for my megos and having one today reminded me of this. Anyone else do this or have a flashback when doing something that reminds you of megos???

Yeah a particular cereal Box we have here Vita-Brits. . . .I used string to turn them into an elevator for my megos to go up and down a set of Pidgeon Holes on their side that I used for a building. Great stuff imagination!

Yeah. . . .and now they are remaking it. . . and it looks exactly the same as the original. . . .only thay have a banana shaped Laptop (play on Apple). Just saw that the other day.

I did indeed use the DQ Banana Split "boats" as...well...boats for my Megos and other toys. They provided hours of fun.

I used to take the round plastic container that came from 25-cent gum machines, take out the prize and cut a hole in the lid. You could put them on Mego figures and make an instant astronaut helmut.

I still Love Bannana Splits. When I was a kid I used to use those for my toys as well. I haven't thought about that in a very very long time
