Brian, you did a couple of these a while back and called them something like "collector profiles" or something like that. I remember a Chatlin interview or something. Since everyone here is a collector, that sounds good to me.

I do the COTM interviews and I keep the questions exactly the same each month. One reason is simplicity for me, the other is so we get the same info from each featured customizer. I think that would work fine here as well. As for personal info, name, user name and a pic are nice. I do that each month for COTM. Let's face it, that information is not and never can be secure anywhere. No one can really do anything with your name, and if they wanted to, they could get that from a phone book. I've always thought a name and pic of who we are talking to makes everyone more "real".

Final note on COTM to John- That feature was never meant to exclude anyone. When I revamped Custom Mego we had adopted a blog format for a while and it was more article based. The feature was started to give people a reason to look in on the blog. Eventually it was all converted to our standard web page format, but we kept the feature because it seemed interesting, and if gave people an opportunity to see the collected works of a particular customizer all in one place. Exclusion of anybody, or special treatment of any particular segment of our group was never the intent.

Back to the member interview thing. I also think it would be cool to see the collection of the member being interviewed. All this could be housed somewhere that it could be recalled, like the COTM feature is in CustoMego.

Dave please don't take it the wrong way my friend. I just don't know a lot of the new guys and thought this might be a good way to get acquainted. I read the "customizer of the month" and think it's pretty cool.
