A suggestion for this site

Instead of doing a "customizer of the month" why not do a "member of the week"? A lot of members here We all know little about and restricting an interview with only those who customize to me limits the people we get to know well. Don't get me wrong, I like the fact that an in-depth interview of a member is done but I think it should not be limited to those in just one area of our hobby. BTW I do not want to get interviewed ever. I think people know a lot about me already. Any thoughts on this? Am I totally out of line? If so, let me know. I just want to get to know a lot of the people who come here better and since our site consists of well over 1,000 members I thought this would be a good way to do it.

I've flirted with a member spotlight thingee for a while now, just would have to be monthly as opposed to weekly but hey, why not?

Is there a way to restrict access to members only? With all the garbage that goes on nowadays (identity theft, stalkers, etc) I wouldn't want a lot of my personal information out there for any goofball with a computer to see. I see a lot of "guests" viewing our site and who knows who these people are or what their agenda is? I suppose I'm assuming the 'interviews' will have a lot of personal info?
Hang on, I gotta put my tinfoil hat on. Hey, that black car with the tinted windows wasn't in front of my house a few minutes ago.

We don't have to get personal at all depending on the person's comfort level, we could even just feature user names and such.

I don't think getting personal is what I meant. Just stuff like name, favorite mego, childhood memories, other collecting interests, Do you customize? stuff like that. At least that is what I was thinking.
