The Year In Review - What You Got, What You Gonna Get

Hey,
A little early, but a fun thread anyway. Most of us have incomplete lines and Holy Grails that we say we are going to complete/get as a New Years Resolution every year. So, how did you do and, if not done, will it get done in 31 days?
This was a great year for me. Besides finishing my loose Zorro with an original hat (once again, thanks to Dave Mc), I finished many 3 3/4" lines. Got a Canadian release DOH police car to complete my DOH line, got the Black Hole Laser vehicle in box (on the way from Italy) to finish off the vehicles for the Black Hole line (still need that loose complete Humanoid - a wait on that one I am sure), pretty much started and completed the Kenner Indiana Jones 1982 line and the Clash of the Titans line, well on the way to completing the Remco monsters line, almost finished getting all the outfits in the Joe Namath line (one left to go!!), and finished getting all the loose and boxed Super Softies in the WOZ line.
Whew!!!

Well, I got Batman and Robin (and I customized a Riddler and soon Joker), and got a one level Dida Batcave. I also got Doc Mego's EMCEs of Klingon, Andorian and Romulan. I hope to get Chekov and Sulu.

As far as 09 goes, I want a complete set of mego buck Rogers figures, a complete set of black hole megos moc- inhumanoid, Continute to collect the EMCE Trek and cast-a-way new figures. I want A LOT of vintage star wars moc figures. I also want to complete my loose SW collection.

I nabbed EMCE's romulan
I got a couple small parts at mego meet. I can't remember what though. In other words not much new.
I am expecting an MC mugato soon.

Mainly I sold off stuff this year.

Maybe I'll get bitten by the buying bug next year. I know I would like to have a few repro parts replaced with real stuff. If MC puts out Talos I would get that.

I am thinking about getting a VW Karmann Ghia and painting it like mego's Spider-mobile
or a VW bus and painting it like the Joker Van.

Lily and Eleanor want some Teen Titan toys this Christmas.

I'll probably buy tidbits at Mego Meet again. See you all there.

I had no ambition this year but lucked into some fun pieces, the big gets were some Kresge cards and the AJ Adventure sets. I got really sidetracked on a monster kick too.

This year I'd like to grab another mad monster in a window box or a Kresge card and maybe this is the year I get a carded Humanoid, who knows?

None of the final pieces to my WGSH this year. Only need the Egos and Wondergirl and a Big "S" Superman for the most part. Couple of original acccessories and some upgrades too. Best one this year was a smirking Myx and the SS Catwoman. Picked up the Sinestro custom from Brian Leitner, The Mightor exclusive, and the Bizarro from Ron in the custom auction at the Meet. Also won the Palitoy Hutch in the raffle which was pretty much the one piece I wanted. Grabbed a Kromedome in a hidden auction and built a 12 inch Mightor with the help of Chris. Completed my Conan to all original from a member here too. As usual I bought way over a hundred figures this year on the bay mostly and from some other sources but mainly to flip or trade for stuff I need though haven't had much time to sell this year. They are starting to pile up. I also got into some non-mego lines this year. Finished SWAT and Emergency! and actually bought a couple of carded pieces, yes I said it I bought carded or non-loose as I call them. Also started picking up some monsters with the Remco Drac and Mummy as well as an AHI Frankenstein. Mattel Space 1999 too. And of course got all the EMCE Trek figures too. Finished about 10-12 customs as well, hopefully some pics of those soon. A pretty good year all in all. Wonder what 2009 will bring??

Unrelated started to get some Johnny west stuff.

Things I'm hoping to still get = Khan,capt action,Nemo,A few more cast-away bodies and acc a few more heads from laurie and dave mc.Then I think I'll be good for awhile.
No wonder my wife says I spend to much on toys...Looking back thats a fair chunk of change...LOL

I had a pretty quite year as far as toys go. I spent more money on nice shelving units from Ikea, than I did on toys. After trying so hard to not get into universal monsters toys, the bug bit and there's now a hundred new toys to pick up in the new year. I'm going to focus on Sideshow 12", a complete set of AHI, and a complete set of Remco (both 12" and 3 3/4). As well as my increasing intrest on vintage sci-fi toys (original Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon etc).

I finally finished replacing the snaps on my Spider-Man outfit. Never knew how much of a pain in the neck sewing those little buggers can be. Got my outfit for my Riddler. Picked up a POTA Astronaut. Got some parts I needed for my Star Trek figures from Doc. And I finally scored an Enterprise Bridge.

My year started well with a loose Romulan and Bens book.
I added a PinPin Invisible Girl and carded PinPin minty mint mint La Chose.
A carded Palitoy Starsky.
Loose Thor.
Loose Cap A with an original emblem.
A loose Green arrow that needs some bits.
Palitoy S&H twin pack.
There are others but I have had a fairly quiet year.

I have also finished some incomplete figures too - Ape bandoliers, a comlock for Alan Carter to name a couple.

I have one final want and it's on Ebay right now so i'm keeping quiet on that one
