I've gotten all the EMCE figures out so far as well as Captain Action and Dr. Eville. Commander X will be arriving soon. I'm doing my part on all the new Mego-type figures coming. I look forward to what's coming from these guys in 2009.

As for real Mego grails - I purchased the Great White Shark from Charlee Flatt back in April. I've yet to receive it. And as everyone knows he's harder to talk to then the president. If anyone talks to him please mention my name. Also, Mr. Chatlin is holding something very dear for me (he has been very pateint with me on it and I thank him for that). Same with Mr. Cerbone.

My grail wants for next year are:

I remember a couple of months ago he mentioned he sold it to you, and that he felt bad he had not sent it to you yet. I assumed the feeling bad part would have made him send it then. I'll mention it if I see him, it is hard to get ahold of him, as he spends less time at the warehouse.

Thanks for the insight. Trust me. I'm not upset he hasn't sent it yet. That's Charlee for you. I'm more concerned that's it's still safe and sound with him. Add the fact I hope to be moving in a few months and I don't want him to send it to the wrong place. The sooner I get it the better.

Lots of EMCE stuff, along with an opportunity to complete several custom figures that had been lanquishing about.

The best part of the year for me...what I got the most enjoyment out of, was watching the renaissance of the 8" mego figure and playset. From EMCE to DIDA, we finally saw what we have all wanted for a longgggg time. Walking into a store and seeing Kirk or Spock (or even all new characters) hanging on a peg, almost winking at you asking for you to buy them and release them from their plastic prisons.....Good times...good times indeed!

What am I gonna get?

For me not to much mego wise, a nice boxed set of monsters, a nice foriegn carded Tourch still with red head, a couple of items from Lepage and a return of something I traded away a couple of years ago.

i didn't get much mego this year a open carded spidey, a rough cah goblin and some eagle force but i did buy some super powers figures this year. next year i hope to pick up a mint ironman.

I really slacked off this year, I didn't actively go after much, just picked up a few items here and there when the opportunity arose.

Two lines that I did finally finish this year were the 12" KISS and 12" Buck Rogers, as I picked up Peter Criss, Tiger Man and Draconian Guard. For the 12 inchers, next year I'll try to finish off ST:TMP, Moonraker and the super heroes.

Other than that, it was a bunch of Mexican stuff, as I got some more Ledy heroes, Ensueno 12" heroes and finally started with the Cipsa POTA line. I'm sure this collection will still be years in the making, as these figures don't pop up all the time.

And I finally starting picking up some WOZ pieces, including my first Munchkin. I'm in no hurry to finish this line, so a complete collection of WOZ will probably be a long time in the making.

Next year, I'll probably continue looking for more Ledy and Cipsa stuff, and get back to working on completing my boxed WGSH collection, which I've neglected for a couple years now. Oh, and getting a Dale Arden and Ming to complete my Flash Gordon line.
