Lo there do I see my Father.
Lo there do I see my Mother and my Sisters and my Brothers.
Lo there do I see the line of my people back to the begining.
Lo they do call me.
They bid me take my place among them.
In the halls of Valhalla where the brave may live forever.Comment

I never open my carded Megos. I have had no trouble finding them in good loose condition for when I want a nice loose specimen. As Brian said, if there's a figure you have carded that you'd prefer to have loose, you can find someone who'd gladly trade you an opened one, and then some! Even with the so-called "common" carded figures, I think it's best to leave them sealed.Comment

I would NEVER open a vintage figure, unless the packaging was completely wasted. There are plenty of loose figures out there. Pass the MOC examples onto a collector that will appreciate them.Comment

I got a Torch MOC in 2005 for Christmas. I opened him immedietly
Think B.A. Where did you hide the Megos?Comment

Yesterday I bought a couple of carded vintage Star Wars Klaatus (different robe variations) with the intention of opening the one that is the variant to the other loose one I already have. Now I have them home I can't bring myself to do it. They cost me a fraction more than a good loose one would cost so the financial loss is minimal, but somehow it just doesn't seem right right to open it, a dilemma that never bothered me with the Megos I have opened. I opened a carded Chopper on a beat-up card to complete my set of loose S&H. I already had a set MOC. It felt great to release him after all these years. Of course I won't do that with any mint carded figures, regardless of who it was.sigpic WANTED: Boxed, Carded and Kresge Carded WGSHComment
