Welcome. What a nice way to be introduced to the world of Mego. Congrats. Like everyone else says those have a unique story behind them now and I'd spend the money to get cases to put them in and protect them.

I'll just echo the good advice you've already received- keep them sealed with the stickers on.

If you need more info, check out the Museum's entry on Star Trek characters-

BTW, you know what goes well with Start Trek characters? A complete set of World's Greatest Heroes

Stickers left on, get some Acrylic Cases as the bubbles and cards get damaged easily, and they would look nice on display, but keep them out of the sun. It will fade the cards, and the figures, horribly. Or you can give them to me and I'll take good care of them> Welcome aboard.

Did you know it was customary for new members to hand over some Megos, to break the ice?
It's an ancient tradition on this forum....

Welcome, I'm going to repeat what everyone else has said, too. Keep them in their original package with the price tag.
                It's all good!

Wow, Thanks to everyone for all the incredibly warm and friendly greetings! If I had known that Mego's rated this outpouring of love, I would have found some a LONG time ago!
In the finest tradition of King Solomon,....... since Gorn Captain and Kryptosmaster both have called dibs on the "Newbie Mego Tradition", I will have to take the Klingon and Uhura figures and divide them evenly amongst you. Gorn will get the left legs and right arms, Kryptos will get the right legs and left arms. Each will get one head. And I will tear the bubbles and cards into halves so each can have half-a-card of each figure! Fair??? I think so. Now how do you get these babies to come apart??? Hold on, I'm going to run down to the basement and grab my bolt-cutters.

That doesn't sound right to me. I've known of plenty of Targets around way before 2000.

Target seems to have been around in West alot longer than in the East.

But onto your question, Leave the stickers on. I like them and makes them all the more interesting to collectors and if they have the stickers of stores a collector bought them from as a kid they might consider it more valuable to them. I do.

Yeah, if I was into boxed figures and I could find one with a Twin Fair or Two Guys sticker on it I would be way more into that one.
