Johnny Depp as The Riddler?

I heard this too....I wish they get him to play a dark ..in the shadows Riddler...he really deserves to be a much more menacing villain than he's been portrayed in the past...Depp could pull that off

Well there was a great show on A&E last week that talked about the psychology of the Batman characters. The Riddler was actually the next scariest villain behind only The Joker. He was a narcisist, like the Zodiac Killer, leaving clues and actually wanting, and needing, a confrontation.
I could see this more derranged version of The Riddler being explored in the next film; certainly compatibale with Nolan's Bat universe thus far...

Well, obviously I'd rather see Phillip Seymour Hoffman as Penguin before anyone as the Riddler, but...

I really like Depp andf think he'd be great. Don't see Riddler as next-most-menacing to Joker, though. Riddler's highly neurotic but not crazy, and more mercenary than murderous. He's into schemes, not chaos.

I'd say Two-Face or even Scarecrow are more insidious than Riddler.

I heard Gary Coleman as Riddler and possibly Rosie O'Donnell as Catwoman. The internets said she and Nolan had lunch together, and really hit it off.
