Sci Fi Comedies - What is out there???

Well since we have opened the Red Dwarf can of worms. . . I remember before RD there was the American show Quark. . . wasn't that a deep Space rubbish trawler????

Have there been other Sci Fi Comedies, or are these 2 it? Who remembers Quark? My recollections are only vague, and nothing specific.

OK. . . Capt Kremin and Mork and Mindy don't count either!!!!!!! Just remebered PIGS in SPACE from the muppets too!!!

    But KARLA. . . . .

OK. . . . .can't forget Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy - Books and original TV series. . .not that new movie rubbish of course!!

Eureka I guess could count as Sci-Fi comedy. Don't know whatever happened to the Spaceballs tv series. Although that was suppose to be a cartoon. Don't know if it still counts.

I changed my last post. I didn't know if movies counted or not.

                      LOVED THE SHOW ..........

Unfortuetely it's considered not PC to like it, so it got cancelled and almost no-one ever heard of it today.

Randel and Hopkirk. . . is that the "DECEASED" ? Ghost friend series?

Wow. . .I had no idea there were so many Sci Fi Comedies. . .We don't get everything down here in OZ. . . and the majority you guys are ripping out. . .I have just never heard of.

Yeah - Alf was Classic. . . but other than landing from Melmac and wanting to eat Cats. . .it was more personality driven rather than Sci-Fi. . . .or am I mistaken??

Oh yeah, Spaceballs was great. I remember a show from the early 90's, not really sci-fi, but it was pretty good. I think it was called, "They came from outer space". It was about two aliens who look human. All they do is eat and screw woman. They had a really cool car too. A 1960 red Corvette. It lasted two seasons I think. It was on Saturday afternoons.Like I said, it was pretty good, but I doubt it's on DVD or anything

I would have to heartily recommend The Mighty Boosh. While not sci-fi in the traditional sense, it does feature wacky adventures in time and space. That counts!
