That's what it is, I don't mind all that but the console doesn't work for me, another played out steampunk thing. I had hoped to see the end of that.

Yeah, it's a bit ...whimsical. Although I've never really been that sold on any of the modern Tardis interiors, the Capaldi one was probably my favourite.

Well that was a fun little romp! Nothing spectacular, but enjoyable the way through. I'm liking the new crew, and the theme is the best since the first revamp in the '70s. Jury's still out on the tardis.

I don't know what to think of the new Tardis interior BUT the new title sequence and theme totally work for me.

    Not a bad episode tonight.
    I'm warming to Jodie's portrayal.
I quite like the new interior of the TARDIS.

I'll go all in and say that I think the only two great regeneration stories were "The Eleventh Hour" and "Spearhead from Space." But I agree with some of the other comments that "The Woman Who Fell to Earth" was just OK and probably (hopefully) not an indication of the stories to come.

To me it felt like a tribute to the 80s. Unfortunately, the bad kind of 80s.
Ripping off X-Files (aliens stole my sister), Predator (the hunter), a bit of Terminator, a Guyver style alien. I felt like I was back in one of the mediocre McCoy episodes, even down to the theme music. She even made her screwdriver in true A-Team style, using just bits and bobs like a spoon.

But I've noticed that first episodes are often mediocre, so let's see what happens next.

Phew! I feel much better now.

I will give it 2 more episodes and if the writing and acting isn't great, I am done with the show until the next doctor
    Soooooooo........what was Martha? Or Mickey?

I could clearly understand all the dialog, which was great. During the Capaldi series I literally had to turn on closed captioning to figute out what he said at times!
I'm hoping that they do at least one straight historical adventure, no aliens, just normal mystery and/or period bad guys. There hasn't been one since the 5th Doctor's Black Orchid (I believe...is that correct?).
Almost had one with 10 & Agatha Christie then they threw in the giant wasp creature.
Also, why did the Doctor say her family is all gone? Did I miss something? Isn't Susan still out there as well as Jenny?

And the sonic screwdriver now has "added Sheffield Steel". Best line of the show.
