She’s really pretty, but a tad too young for me.Just watched the current episode --- the undercover one
Man, i'm really liking this show
Still not totally comfortable with MacFarlane as captain -- but I am getting used to it.
BTW, am I the only person who thinks the little girl with superpowers is definitely the babe of this show ?
I’m liking MacFarlane’s ex, the First Officer, she’s hot.Leave a comment:

I watched some of The Orville, and realized that I do like it, and is very much like Star Trek: The Next Generation. I find it really enjoyable.Leave a comment:

I watch all my shows via DVR...and only had time to watch Gotham last night. But I'll watch this episode of The Orville later in the evening...as it's already my favorite new show of the season.Leave a comment:

Just finished "Pria", and, aside from being utterly blinded by Charlize Theron's good looks (oh, that kiss! Seth McFarlane, you lucky bastitch!), one of the first things I noticed WAS that this episode was directed by Jonathan Frakes, so it's not surprising it was a great episode.
I found the character of Pria intriguing and hope that, since they didn't actually kill her off, she can make a few return appearances on the show, sort of like Q on ST: TNG. Guess it just depends on whether or not CT feels like reprising the role (which I hope she does).
For a program that started off as something I didn't care for, The Orville has quickly grown to become one of my favorite new shows of the, admittedly, young new TV season. The pilot felt really uneven, but it has gained it's footing and now I like to think of it in the same way I approached BTVS; it's a hybridization of two genres, sci-fi and comedy (Buffy was horror/fantasy and comedy), that shouldn't work, but thankfully, they do.
This episode boasted some really super-nice VFX, too, from the comet hurtling towards the star, to the 29th Century space station and especially that ride through the dark matter cluster. It has effects that should actually make some motion picture sci-fi jealous. Not sure what it's budget is, but it looks like they are dollars well spent.
Looking forward to this week's episode with the Krill...Leave a comment:
