Your favorite Star Trek TOS season 3 episodes?

I conned my woman into watching Star Trek. Oddly enough she didn't like " City on the edge of forever" but did enjoy "a private little war"
Anyway,Trek was running on empty for the last season but there are a few gems in there (not spock's brain tho )

    My list
Let that be your last battlefield.
    The Cloud minders
    All our yesterdays
    The paradise syndrome
    The Savage curtain

I agree with those episodes, but you can't leave out, "The Enterprise Incident" Kirk disguised as a Romulan
and "Day of the Dove" introducing Michael Ansara as Klingon Kane. Also "Whom Gods Destroy" with the
beautiful Yvonne Craig as Orion slave girl Marta.

        The Tholian Web
        The Savage Curtain
        Requiem for Methusaleh
        The Enterprise Incident
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

Whom Gods Destroy. Yvonne told the story: She would spend 3 hours each morning in the makeup chair, do her shoot, then go home and wash it all off. On Friday she fell asleep in the chair and did not discover until she got in the shower that night that they shaved her eyebrows off.

Oh, and despite its reputation for being so, Spock's Brain is NOT the worst. In fact, I find it quite watchable.

Season 3 gets a lot of flack, but there's some damn fine Star Trek in there.

                  Personal favorites:

The Paradise Syndrome (I AM KIROK!!!)

All Our Yesterdays – Cindy and I covered this one over on Super Mates. A love story nearly as tragic as "City on the Edge of Forever"...again with a time travel angle!

The Tholian Web – Great story, and who doesn't love those space/environmental suits?

Day of the Dove – Michael Ansara as my favorite Klingon, Kang

Whom Gods Destroy – Just rewatched this one. Yes, it shares some elements with "Dagger of the Mind from Season One...but how many episodes were rip-offs of "Return of the Archons"? Craig is great as Marta, and Garth is well-portrayed as well. Totally knackers.

The Enterprise Incident – The Romulan Commander in a mini-skirt makes no sense, but the episode is just fun to watch, with Shatner able to overact...this time on purpose, as Kirk goes "mad".

The Savage Curtain – Two words: Space Lincoln.

Specter of the Gun – I'm a sucker for the old west in general, and Tombstone/Wyatt Earp in particular. Throw in Trek, and you have a winner.

I actually like a lot of season three.

                      From best to least favorite:

The Tholian Web -Kirk's final orders scene is the best.
                      Day of the Dove
                      Spectre of the Gun
                      The Enterprise Incident
                      The Savage Curtain

                      Requiem for Methuselah
                      The Way to Eden
                      Whom Gods Destroy
                      Plato's Stepchildren
                      The Paradise Syndrome

                      Elaan of Troyius
                      Wink of an Eye
                      All Our Yesterdays

I've always had a secret liking of the OK Corral one.

The Malkotian is probably Classic Star Trek's most unique alien, yet mostly forgotten in most opinion polls

The very nature of the sets in Spectre of the Gun would have made for some really cool cardboard playsets.
