Big fan of Threepio and Maximillian but my list would be Japan heavy with Mechagodzilla, Mechanikong, Mazinger Z, Gaiking, Grendizer, Combattler V, Reideen, Daimos, Leopardon, etc.

I think C-3PO is the most amazing robot ever created in terms of design and realism. He not only seems completely functional, but every single time I have ever watched him on screen I completely forget there's a human being inside there.

Agreed. And Daniels' performance seals the deal. His movements, the voice and the subtle phasing of it. Perfect.

Tough call... very difficult to choose just 10.
But here are a few, in no particular order:

                              Artoo and Threepio
                              Maximillian
                              Ultron
                              K-9
                              V.I.N.Cent
                              Lucifer (Galactica)
                              Mechagodzilla
                              IG-88
                              Optimus Prime
                              Twiki
                              PUNY HUMANS!

Okay I know this is corny but, the headless robot in the tuxedo, in the Three Stooges episode with Shemp
and the goon robot in the Stooges Joe episode. and I also remember a robot in an episode in the George
Reeves Adventures of Superman series, and the Jokers robot Mr. Glee in the 66 Batman show.
