Not a fan of last nights episode.
IMO it was on the same scale as the Moon - egg episode.
Almost felt like a rejected Davison style script
I wish Doctor Who all the luck in the world but if they don't start making better episodes the show is going to tank.
People can only convince themselves how great this season is so much but eventually reality is going to set in.
To the peeps who love this season, I mean no disrespect - just voicing my opinion.

I, too, am a bit weary of the Clara/Mr. Pink storyline and all of the little kiddies that tag along. I'm quite surprised The Doctor didn't have a double-coronary when he saw the herd of kids in his TARDIS. I was just waiting for one of them to break something.
Aaaaaand......I'm getting REALLY tired of Pink constantly deriding The Doctor! If he had even the remotest of clues as to how many times The Doctor has pulled Earth's fat out of the fire, maybe he would learn a bit of respect.
Plus, was it just me or was some of the dialogue in last night's episode pretty close to unintelligible? I'm going to have to watch it again with CC on just to catch half of what was said!Leave a comment:

Interesting episode tonight. I like the concept of trees protecting the planet. But I'm sick of kids being in the TARDIS now. The sooner the Doctor parts ways with Clara and gets away from the school, the better.
Capaldi is still excellent, though.Leave a comment:

Hmmm,
I met Colin back in 1984 when he was THE Doctor.
Perhaps he got grumpy since thenLeave a comment:

I met Colin last April, and to be honest, he wasn't in a great mood.
He was very short, to the point. It was "pay me, here's your autograph".
I felt like Peri, but without the boobs...Leave a comment:

Honestly, I really miss a male companion, to break up the whole "I'm in love with the Doctor" thing.
My favorite team-up is still Troughton and Hines (with Baker and Sladen a close second, I admit).
And yes, a black or asian companion would be great, maybe one from a historical period.
I always felt Jamie was the greatest companion, because he was totally out of his comfort zone, knew nothing about space, and still he became a true hero, utterly dedicated to the Doctor.Leave a comment:

Great shots Clem !!!
How was Matt Smith in person ?
He seems like he'd be really coolLeave a comment:

Basically, yes--Victoria came in just after Jamie but left before he did. There might be a companion in the Big Finish audios, but given that the last "historical" serial (other than "Black Orchid") was "The Highlanders" with Troughton, the time the Doctor dealt with "pure" history is really relegated to the early years of the show. I suppose there's an in-show explanation possible, to say retroactively that the Doctor was "hiding" from the Time Lords in Earth history...Leave a comment:

Would love to see Clem as a new companion.
As a twist it would be cool to have him from Chinese antiquity -- Besides being something different it would allow Clem to keep his hair and beard
Doctor Who hasn't had past history companions since ... Jamie ?Leave a comment:
