I'll reserve final judgement until the end of next episode, but the idea of "when you cremate someone, you'll be burning them in the afterlife as well", is something that I find rather sensitive. Most of the loved ones I have lost were cremated, one just months ago, and I was surprised that a fictional story on tv actually hurt my feelings. I have wrestled with this issue myself, the "what if?" of what happens when someone's is cremated or buried, and I felt uneasy with the subject matter being used as tv entertainment. But I'll see how it ends.

I think it's all built around Moffat sticking in a new DW catchphrase.

    Are You My Mommy ?

Hey, Who Turned out the Light ?

    Don't blink !!!

    Bow ties are cool

    Finally, "don't cremate me"

    I'm sure there's plenty more I forgot

Was the Missy revelation really any kind of surprise to anyone? Calling her Missy seemed a little too big of a hint to me. I know they have done this often enough in the past by giving him aliases that translates into The Master in other languages, but that seemed a little too on the nose.

Vs. the revelation of Professor Yana as a genuine HOLY CRAP! moment when The Master previously resurfaced.

I did like the droid fake-out and was kind of hoping for Susan or Romana (or even River) as well when she finally confronted the Doctor. I was certain that he'd have been tipped off by the two hearts, so why wouldn't he have suspected?

Any theories on how The Master escaped the time-lock trap w/ Rassilon and the rest of the time lords? through the crack in the universe somehow when it asked "Doctor Who"? Do you think this is a chosen regeneration to confound the Doctor (as has been hinted recently that the current form of Capaldi was chosen), or do you think this is a stolen body?

Weirdly I was tipped off by a recent interview with Moffat where he said he'd never use the Master because Russel had closed that door.

It sounded too much like what he said about Rose and I didn't believe him.

However, I kept falling for the Red Herrings, next week should be an interesting story.

          Question.

Shouldn't the Cybermen have had no skeletons ?

Recent episodes said only human brains were used in their making

When Amy fought a Cyberman in the Pandorica, a human head fell out of it. They also tried to seal up Craig in a Cyber suit.

From what I understand, the RTD Cyberman were the brain ones. Moffat once explained his era's Cyberman are the Telos/Mondas kind.

Torchwood's Cyberwoman was mid-transformation with human parts.

That's too dumb for me to even mention. I try to pretend it didn't happen.

She had high heels too, it was not a high point for the show.

I tried to get into the Torchwood show, but failed miserably just about each time. The concept seemed pretty good, but the execution, as illustrated by the costuming choice above, usually just didn't make any sense. I did like the bit about the pterodactyl eating her, tho.

Torchwood was kinda hit and miss

Sometimes they had clever episodes and sometimes they had Countrycide, Cyberwoman, End of Days and Meat.

Also, the conclusion of Miracle Day was a huge letdown.

I liked it more than I disliked it but it certainly had it's clunkers.

Miracle Day should have been four parts at best, it was far too padded.
